Intended use
Use the battery pressure cleaner in private households
only.
The pressure cleaner is intended for cleaning ma-
chines, vehicles, buildings, tools, façades, terraces,
garden machines etc. using a water jet.
Rechargeable battery packs and
chargers
Only use the device with battery packs and chargers
from the KÄRCHER 18 V Battery Power (+) system.
Suitable battery packs and chargers
are marked with the KÄRCHER 18 V
Battery Power (+) System symbol.
Suitable battery packs bear the desig-
nation "Battery Power 18/... and Bat-
tery Power+ 18/...".
Suitable chargers bear the designation
"BC 18 V ...".
Accessories and spare parts
Only use original accessories and original spare parts.
They ensure that the appliance will run fault-free and
safely.
Information on accessories and spare parts can be
found at www.kaercher.com.
Special accessories
Use only special accessories with the label "Handheld"
and a blue plug.
Scope of delivery
The scope of delivery for the appliance is shown on the
packaging. Check the contents for completeness when
unpacking. If any accessories are missing or in the
event of any shipping damage, please notify your deal-
er.

Battery pack charging
1. Charge the battery pack (see operating instructions
for the battery pack).
Installing the battery pack
CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage if the battery pack is not
engaged!
A battery pack that is not properly engaged can fall out
and cause injury or damage.
Make sure that the battery pack engages correctly in the
battery mount.
1. Push the battery pack into the battery mount until it
audibly clicks into place, see .

Connection to a water line
1. Connect a garden hose with a plug coupling (not in-
cluded in the scope of delivery) to the device:
a If the KÄRCHER suction hose was previously fit-
ted: Screw the coupling onto the water connec-
tion.
b Push the plug coupling of the garden hose onto
the coupling.

2. Connect the garden hose to the water line.
3. Open the water tap completely.
Suck water from open containers
This pressure cleaner with the KÄRCHER suction hose
is suitable for sucking in surface water, e.g.from folding
buckets, rain barrels or ponds.
For maximum suction height, see chapter Technical da-
ta.
1. Unscrew the coupling on the water connection of the
device.
2. Fill the suction hose with water.
3. Screw the suction hose onto the water connection of
the device and hang it in a water source (e.g. rain
barrel).
4. Vent the suction hose.
Note
If necessary, remove the spray lance before venting the
suction hose.
a Start the device see chapter Starting the device.
b Operate the device until no more air bubbles can
be seen in the suction hose.
c Release the power switch.
d Secure the power switch with the lock.
Mount the spray lance and nozzle
1. Mount the spray lance and nozzle:
a Press the spray lance into the device and
b and fasten it by turning it 90°.
c Push the nozzle onto the spray lance until it audi-
bly clicks into place.
