Operation
ATTENTION
Risk of damage!
Damaging the pump during dry running.
Switch off the device if it does not build up pressure
within 2 minutes.
Proceed according to the instructions in chapter Trou-
bleshooting guide.
Set spray type
WARNING
Risk of injury and damage!
Danger of injury and damage when setting the spray
type during operation.
Switch off the device before setting the spray type.
1. Turn the head of the multi jet nozzle to set the de-
sired spray type (point jet, flat jet, rinsing jet, mist jet,
pouring jet).

Starting the device
1. Start the device:
a Release the power switch lock.
b Press the power switch.
The device switches on.

Operation with detergent
Note
KÄRCHER offers you detergent spray bottles for vehi-
cle care.
Recommended cleaning method
1. Spray the detergent sparingly on the dry surface and
let it work for a while (do not let it dry).
2. Rinse off the loosened dirt with the pressure jet.
Interrupting operation
1. Release the power switch.
2. Secure the power switch with the lock.
Removing the battery pack
Note
During longer work breaks, remove the battery pack
from the device and secure it against unauthorised use.
1. Remove the battery pack:
a Press the battery pack unlocking button.
b Pull the battery pack out of the battery pack
mount.

Ending operation
1. Release the power switch.
2. Close the water tap.
3. Press the power switch.
The existing pressure in the device is relieved.
4. Disconnect the device from the water supply.
5. Secure the power switch with the lock.
6. Remove the battery pack (see chapter Removing
the battery pack).
Transport

Injury or damage due to non-observance of the weight.
Be aware of the weight of the device during transport
and storage.
ATTENTION

Damage to the device and accessories due to freezing
water.
Completely empty the device and accessories after
each use.
Protect the device and accessories from temperatures
below or equal to 0 °C (32 °F).
1. Finish operation, see chapter Ending operation.
2. Secure the device and accessories, according to the
applicable regulations, against slipping and tipping
over when transporting in vehicles.

Cleaning the device
1. Clean the device with a moist cloth.
Cleaning the fine filter
Clean the fine filter regularly.
1. Depressurize the device, see chapter Ending oper-
ation.

Risk of damage due to improper cleaning!
The fine filter is damaged by improper cleaning.
Clean the fine filter only under running water against its
flow direction.
Do not use sharp or hard objects such as needles or
wire brushes.

The device may be damaged when operated without a
fine filter.
