Flushing the test set

Flushing the test set removes any residual gases. The following
can be used for flushing:
● clean ambient air
● synthetic air (test gas)
1. Switch on the device.
2. Only when using synthetic air:
− screw the test gas can onto the test set (section 5.2).
3. Connect the test set to the device.
4. Leave the device switched on for at least 1 minute.
The test set is flushed.

Checking and adjusting the device

Once the test set has been prepared, devices can be tested and
adjusted.
Note:
A conditioner must be used for testing and adjusting gas-sensi-
tive semiconductors.
1. Switch on the device and wait until it is ready for operation.
2. Connect the test gas hose to the device's gas input.
The test gas is sucked into the device by the test set.
3. Check the value displayed on the device.
− The value must be within the permitted deviations.
− If the value is outside the permitted deviations, the device
must be readjusted.
