Safety instructions:
WARNING: In order to reduce all risks of possible body harm when using electric equipment PLEASE
READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE USING THE MACHINE. Keep these safety
instructions with the machine at all times.
The machine must only be used by qualified technicians who have been trained to use the equipment.
This machine should be used only for the job for which it was designed.
Stay alert. Watch what you are doing. Use common sense. Do not operate the machine when you
are tired.
Keep your working area tidy. Untidiness increases the risks of accidents. Always work in a well-lit place.
Consider the work area environment in which you use the equipment. Do not expose the electric tools to
the rain. Do not use them in a humid or wet environment or in the presence of flammable gases or
liquids.
When you use the corded machine do not abuse the cable. Never carry the machine by the cable or yank it
to disconnect. Keep the cable away from heat, oil and sharp objects. Use only extension cables approved
with the corresponding marking.
Protect yourself against electric shocks. Do not drop or hit the machine. Hold the machine exclusively from
the isolated sides.
When not in use, the machine should be stored in a dry, secure place.
Use a face or dust mask if the cutting operation is dusty.
Maintain the machine with care. Keep it clean for a better and safer performance. Follow instructions for
lubricating and changing accessories.
Never force on the motor of the machine, it will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was
intended.
Disconnect/unplug the machine before maintaining or changing the facing inserts.
Avoid unintentional starting. Do not carry a plugged/connected machine with your finger on the trigger. Be
sure the switch is off when plugging/connecting in.
To put the machine in safety position, unplug/disconnect the DC65, to avoid unintentional starting.
Check if your machine is damaged before using it. ALWAYS check that no parts have been damaged in
order to be sure that it can perform its intended function. Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of
moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting, and any other conditions that may affect its operation.
Damaged parts should be properly repaired or replaced by an authorised after-sales centre.
DO NOT USE THE MACHINE IF DAMAGED.
