Setting the distance
The distance between the sanding plate
(8) and the edge guide plate (11) can be
adjusted individually.
Procedure (Fig. D)
1. Loosen the wing screw (12).
2. Move the edge guide plate (11) un-
til it is at the desired distance from the
sanding disc (8).
3. Tighten the wing screw (12).
Adjusting the grinding angle
The grinding angle can be flexibly adjus-
ted within a range of approx. 43 - 92°.
The edge is ground according to the set
angle.
Procedure (Fig. E)
1. Loosen the wing screw (12).
2. Set to the desired angle of the edge
guide plate (11). Use the scale as a
guide. The angle indicator (24) shows
the set angle.
3. Tighten the wing screw (12).
Operation
Working instructions
• Do not use the device without a dust
collection box or external dust extrac-
tion. Use of dust extraction can reduce
hazards caused by dust. When us-
ing sanding sheets without ventilation
holes, dust extraction is not possible.
Make sure that the workplace is well
ventilated.
• Use the device with both hands
(Fig. F) .
• Move the appliance against the work-
piece once it is switched on.
• After machining, lift the sanding disc up
before turning off the device.
• Only work with sanding sheets in per-
fect condition to achieve good sanding
results.
• Work with low and even pressure and
even forward pressure. This protects the
appliance and the sanding sheet.
• Do not use the same sanding sheet to
sand different materials (e.g. metal and
then wood).
• Empty the dust collection box or the va-
cuum cleaner regularly in order to en-
sure optimal suction power.
Switching on and off
Switching on
1. Use the rotary wheel (1) to select a
speed level (1 ... 6).
2. Move the On/Off switch (3) forward
to the "I" (ON) position.
3. Wait until the device has reached full
speed.
4. Guide the sanding disc against the
workpiece.
Switching off
1. Remove the sanding disc from the
workpiece.
2. Move the On/Off switch (3) back to
the "0" (OFF) position.
3. Wait until the power tool has stopped
before placing it down.
4. Pull the device plug out of the wall out-
let if you are leaving the device unat-
tended or if you have finished working.
Transport
Information on transporting the device:
• Switch off the device and disconnect
the plug from the power outlet. Make
sure that all moving parts have come to
a complete stop.
• Remove the attachment tool.
