buckle until you hear a "click".
WARNING: Put the two tabs together and introduce them
in the buckle until you hear a CLICK! Step C. Always check
that the restraint system is correctly engaged by pulling
the top and bottom ends (Fig. 3).
WARNING: Tighten the straps until they are in contact
with the child's body. The hip belt must lie as low as
possible over your child's waist.
Step D. The restraint system should be adjusted
as tightly as possible without causing discomfort
to the child. A loose harness is dangerous and
should be checked each time that you use the seat.
To tighten the harness, pull the adjustment strap
down until the harness fits the child's body tightly
(Fig. 4). Release the adjustment strap. There
should never be more than one finger's width of
space between the shoulder straps and your child's
shoulders. Step E. To loosen the restraint system
pull both shoulder straps and pull the adjustment
strap down at the same time (Fig. 5).
UNFASTENING THE HARNESS
To release the straps, push the red button in the
middle of the buckle. You can now lift your child
from the seat; making sure that the straps do not
catch on clothing.
ADJUSTING THE SHOULDER HEIGHT BEFORE THE
CAR SEAT IS INSTALLED IN THE CAR
The restraint system has 2 positions. The straps
should go into the slots at, or the nearest slots
above the height of the child's shoulders. To adjust
the restraint straps, remove each strap by passing it
through the specific slot, then adjust them and insert
them again in the appropriate slot. If the shoulder
height is not appropriate, install the seat again.
TO ENSURE THAT YOUR CAR SEAT IS INSTALLED
CORRECTLY, MAKE SURE THAT:
The restraint straps are close to the body without
being too tight. The shoulder straps are adjusted
correctly. The straps are not twisted. The car safety
belts are correctly fastened.
USING THE CAR SEAT IN THE VEHICLE
Make sure that the car seat is installed in a rearward-
facing position.
WARNING: An airbag can cause serious injuries to
your child, possibly resulting in death. Do not use on
a passenger seat with an activated airbag. However,

should the seat be installed in the passenger seat,
please ensure that any airbag is deactivated. For seats
with side airbags, please observe the instructions in the
manufacturer's manual.
FITTING YOUR CAR SEAT IN THE CAR
WARNING: This car seat can only be fitted on a
passenger seat with a diagonal seat belt and no air
bag. APPROVED MANDATORY SEAT BELT Your child
seat can only be installed rearward facing using a lap
and diagonal seat belt in the front or rear passenger
seat of the car.
INSTALLATION
Insert the handle in the specific housing on the backrest
of the seat until you hear a "click" making sure you put
the child car seat rearward facing. Pull the car lap belt
passing it through the specific slot and introduce it in the
buckle until you hear a "click". Place the diagonal belt in
the diagonal seat belt guide at the backside of the child
car seat. Make sure the belt is not slack and that there
are no twists or kinks.
HANDLE POSITION
To adjust the handle from one position to another,
press the two red buttons at the same time and
bring the handle forwards or backwards into the
desired position. The handle has four positions:
baby seat car installation position. Upright carrying
position or for installation on the travel system. Baby
seat storage position. Baby support for feeding.
Before lifting the seat, always ensure that the handle
is fully locked in the desired position (you must hear
a "click") that the restraint system has been correctly
adjusted and that the buckle is correctly fastened.
TRAVEL SYSTEM
This child seat can be installed in the travel system
mode. INSTALLATION: Position the adapter in the
stroller housing, then push the adapter into the housing
until you hear a "click".
Important: make sure you hear a "click". Check that the
child seat is correctly fastened by trying to remove it.
REMOVAL: grasp the seat, lift the red adapter button
with your fingers and remove the child seat.

Cleaning the restraint system and straps
Use only a mild detergent and warm water.
