OPERATION
INFLATING WITH THE HIGH VOLUME HOSE
See Figure 8-9, page 13.
The high volume hose is used to inflate high volume items,
such as air mattresses, pools, and floats.
NOTE: A standard pinch valve nozzle comes as part of the
small inflatable nozzle assembly. It is located in the onboard
storage compartment on the left side of the tool. The pinch
valve adaptor is used for items that have a smaller air opening
or pinch valve. Insert pinch valve adaptor into pinch valve,
ensuring that the tip of the adaptor is inserted past the inner
"flap" inside the valve. When inflating, ensure that the tip is
not blocked during inflation.
NOTE: If needed install the standard pinch valve nozzle on
the end of the high volume hose.
Align the slots in the hose with the pins in the port on the
front of the inflator.
Turn the hose clockwise as far as it will turn.
Pull out on the hose to make sure it is securely locked
in place.
Press the power button to turn on the digital gauge. The
unit will start up in the high pressure mode by default.
Press the mode button again to select the high volume
mode.
Press the start/stop button to start inflating.
When the desired pressure is reached, press the start/
stop button to stop inflating.
Remove the hose from object being inflated.
Remove the hose by turning it counterclockwise as far
as it will turn and remove it from the inflator.
Store the hose in the hose wrap on the base of the unit.
NOTE: The five minute duty cycle may make it difficult or
impractical to inflate extremely large items such as king
sized mattresses and party-sized pools.
NOTICE:
Always leave the high volume hose free of obstruc-
tions and remove the standard pinch valve nozzle
when not in use. Overheating could occur if high
volume hose is blocked.
DEFLATING WITH THE HIGH VOLUME HOSE
See Figure 8 and 10, page 13.
The high volume hose, when placed in the deflator port, can
be used to remove air from inflated items.
Place the hose inside the deflator port.
Press the power button on the side of the inflator to turn
on the digital gauge.
Press the mode button again to select the high volume
mode.
Press the start/stop button to start deflating.
When the item has been deflated, press the start/stop
button to stop deflating.
Remove the hose by pulling it from the deflator port.
Store the hose in the hose wrap on the base of the unit.
INFLATING WITH THE HIGH PRESSURE HOSE
INFLATING TO A PRESET PRESSURE
See Figure 11 - 12, page 13.
When the preset pressure feature is used, the inflator will
automatically stop inflating once a predetermined pressure
has been reached.
To use the preset pressure feature:
Install the battery pack or connect the inflator to a 12V
power source.
Connect the air chuck to the valve stem.
Press the power button and a readout will appear on the
digital gauge.
NOTE: The pressure readout on the gauge while inflating
is a measurement of the fluctuating pressure between the
item and the air hose. To get an accurate reading, press
the start/stop button and wait for the readout to adjust.
Rotate the digital gauge dial clockwise to select "AUTO"
mode.
Continue turning the dial clockwise until the desired
shutoff pressure is displayed.
Press the start/stop button to begin inflation. The inflator
will continue to run after the switch trigger is released.
Once the desired pressure is reached, the unit will auto-
matically shutoff.
NOTE: To stop the inflator before the shutoff pressure is
reached, press the start/stop button.
After inflation is complete, remove the air chuck from the
valve stem.
The air chuck on the high pressure hose can be used without
adaptors to inflate tires or with any application that has a
valve stem that fits the air chuck opening.
NOTE: When inflating items of 10 PSI or less, use MANUAL
mode to inflate in short bursts and check after each burst
by feel or with a calibrated measuring device to determine
accurate pressure.
Press the power button to turn on the digital gauge. The
unit will start up in high pressure mode by default.
Screw on the valve stem, making sure it is a secure fit.
NOTE: The current air pressure inside the item will be
shown on the display.
Rotate the dial clockwise to select the needed air pres-
sure. Rotate the dial clockwise to increase or rotate the
dial counterclockwise decrease the air pressure in 1 PSI
increments.
Press the start/stop button to start inflating.
