OPERATION
NOTE: The pressure readout on the gauge while inflating
is a measurement of the fluctuating pressure between
the item and the high pressure hose. To get an accurate
reading, stop inflating and follow above instructions for
reading the air pressure.
Turn off the inflator and remove the high pressure hose.
Press the power button to deactivate the display.
NOTE: Check your vehicle's manufacturer manual for the
optimal air pressure for your tires.
INFLATING MANUALLY FOR HIGH
PRESSURE APPLICATIONS
Connect the high pressure hose to item to be inflated.
Press mode button to select high pressure.
Press and hold start/stop button until desired pressure
is reached.
Release the start/stop button when desired pressure is
reached. Remove the high pressure hose.
INFLATING WITH THE HIGH PRESSURE
HOSE AND ACCESSORIES
See Figures 13 - 17, pages 13 - 14.
The high pressure hose can be used with the provided adap-
tors to inflate a variety of items.
To install the valve, thread adaptor, or needle into the air
chuck. Inflate to desired pressure.
To remove, unscrew the accessory from the air chuck
then hold the accessory and pull from the hose.
The supplied accessories perform a variety of functions.
The tapered adaptor can be used on smaller pinch valves
to inflate items like floats and children's toys, which usually
require the user to inflate them by blowing air into them. The
sports ball needle can be used to inflate any type of sports
ball or any other item that requires an inflation sports ball
needle.
NOTE: When inflating items of 10 PSI or less, inflate in short
bursts and check after each burst by feel or with a calibrated
measuring device to determine accurate pressure.
SPORT BALL NEEDLE
Insert the sports ball needle into the sports ball valve
and inflate.
Remove the sports ball needle from the sports ball.
After inflation, turn off the inflator and remove the sports
ball needle and return to the onboard storage area inside
the compartment on the left side of the tool.
NOTE: Pressure required for most sports balls is too low for
accurate reading on gauge.
TAPERED ADAPTOR
The tapered adaptor can be used on smaller pinch valves to
inflate small items like floats and children's toys, which usu-
ally require the user to inflate them by blowing air into them.
Thread the accessory into the front end of the high pres-
sure hose, making sure the accessory is firmly in place.
Insert tapered adaptor into valve and inflate.
After inflation, turn off the inflator and remove tapered
adaptor after inflation.
PRESTA VALVE ADAPTOR
The Presta valve adaptor can be used for Presta valve stems
as described below. Before inflating a tire with a Presta
valve, loosen the locking nut on the valve stem to inflate.
Once inflation is complete, tighten the locking nut to seal
the tire valve.
Loosen the Presta valve locking nut on the Presta valve
stem.
Thread the Presta valve adaptor onto the Presta valve
stem. Tighten firmly, being careful not to cross-thread.
Thread the high pressure hose onto the air chuck on the
end of the Presta valve adaptor.
Inflate as described previously in Inflating With the High
Pressure Hose.
After inflation, turn off the inflator and remove the air
chuck and tighten locking nut.
Remove the Presta valve adapter and return to the on-
board storage area on the inside the compartment on the
left side of the tool.
ACCESSORIES STORAGE
See Figures 18, page 14.
When not in use, the accessories can be stored in the on-
board storage located on the inflator.
Store the Presta valve adapter, sports ball needle, tapered
adapter, and standard pinch valve nozzle in the onboard
storage located inside the compartment on the left side
of the tool.
HOSE STORAGE
See Figures 19, page 14.
When inflator is not in use, the high pressure and high
volume hoses can be stored in the hose wraps located on
the inflator.
Wrap the high pressure hose around the flange on the
right side of the unit.
Wrap the high volume hose around the base of the infla-
tor. Line up the center of the hose and press into the clip
until it snaps into place then press the two ends of the
hose until you hear a click for a secure fit.
