Procedure
1. Place the new battery in the holder.
2. Connect the connector to the PCB.
3. Replace the case top to close the sensor. Grip the upper and lower sides of the instrument with your hands and turn
them in opposite directions to tighten.
→ On closing the case top, ensure that the battery connection cables do not become pinched.
Make absolutely sure that there is no gap between the case top of the sensor and the thread. The
sensor is only considered closed when the gap is completely closed. Be careful not to accidentally
loosen the instrument when changing the battery. Tighten without tilting the case top.
7. Dismounting, return and disposal
7.1 Dismounting

Should a failure occur, aggressive media with extremely high temperature and under high pressure or
vacuum may be present at the instrument.

Depressurise and de-energise the instrument before dismounting it.
7.2 Return

Physical injuries and damage to property and the environment through residual media
Residual media in the dismounted instrument can result in a risk to persons, the environment and
equipment.

With hazardous substances, include the material safety data sheet for the corresponding medium.
Strictly observe the following when shipping the instrument:
All instruments delivered to WIKA must be free from any kind of hazardous substances (acids, bases, solutions, etc.)
and must therefore be cleaned before being returned.
Remove the batteries before returning.
