Troubleshooting

Before performing any work on the blower, remove the connecting cable plug from the machine's socket.
Condition
Blower does not start when switched on
Blower cuts out during operation
Runtime is too short
Battery jams when being inserted in charger
or the cable plug jams when being inserted in
the socket

Cause
No electrical contact between connect -
ing cable and blower or battery
Battery is low on charge
(1 LED on battery flashes green
Battery too hot / too cold
(1 LED on battery glows red)
Fault in battery
(4 LEDs on battery flash red)
Blower is too hot
(3 LEDs on battery glow red)
Electromagnetic problem or fault in the
blower
(3 LEDs on battery flash red)
Moisture in blower and/or battery
Battery or blower's electronics too hot
Electrical or electromagnetic malfunction Disconnect and reconnect cable
Battery not fully charged
Useful life of battery has been reached
or exceeded
Guides / contacts dirty
Remedy
Disconnect cable between battery and
blower, inspect the cable and contacts,
reconnect the cable to the battery and
blower.
Charging the Battery

Allow battery to cool down / allow battery
to warm up slowly at temperatures of
about 15°C - 20°C (60°F - 70°F)
Disconnect and reconnect cable
between battery and blower. Switch on
the blower – if the LEDs continue to
flash, the battery has a malfunction and
must be replaced.
Blower is too hot – allow it to cool down.
Disconnect and reconnect cable
between battery and blower. Switch on
the blower – if the LEDs still flash, the
blower has a malfunction and must be
checked by a servicing dealer
Allow blower / battery to dry
Allow battery and blower to cool down
between battery and blower.
Charge the battery

Check battery
and replace
Carefully clean the guides / contacts
