Cutting is performed according to the illustration:

Feed the blade 3-7 cm (1.2"-2.8"). Make the pilot cut in
order to obtain a straight cut and with that a base for the
next cut. The cut should be made with care. The cutting
arm allows blades up to 1000 mm (40") to be used as the
start blade. It is, however, recommended to start cutting
with a 800 mm (31.5") blade.
•
When the pilot cut is finished, a deeper cut can be
made. The depth of these is determined from instance
to instance and depends on factors such as hardness
of the concrete, existence of reinforcing bar, etc.
•
If you change blades to cut deeper in the same cut,
make sure the thickness of the blade matches the
width of the groove.
•
Let the machine work without forcing or pressing the
blade.
When the cuts with the blade are finished, replace the
blade with the wall saw chain attachment and cut the
remaining material to get sharp corners.
If you are cutting in a heavily reinforced concrete or hard
aggregate you should start the cut A minus 50 mm (2")
from the corner. Check table under overcutting for A
measurements.
CAUTION! Change the setting in the remote control to
chain mode when using the wall saw chain attachment.
Feed the wall saw chain attachment inwards in the wall
and cut with the nose wheel. The software will
automatically adjust the longitudinal feeding to make the
cut with the nose wheel. Make sure that there is enough
room for the saw carriage to the end stop of the track
when cutting starts (choose the correct direction of the
arm rotation).
CAUTION! Make sure that chain mode is selected in the
remote control. If not, the tool will suffer excessive wear.

Overcutting
The overcutting length depends on the thickness of wall
and what blade that is used.
