2. Lower completely the buttonhole engaging lever and
push it slightly backwards (illustration 3).
3. Place the center of the foot stroke against the lower
edge of the mark in the fabric. Lower the presser foot
and start seam.
4. The buttonhole will be made sequentialy as shown in
illustration 4.
5. When your machine finish the buttonhole, lift the
presserfoot and remove fabric from machine.
6. Carefully cut buttonhole openings with a seam ripper
or small sharp scissors.
Note: To make the other buttonholes, you must push the
buttonhole engaging lever backwards again
(illustration 3).
If a próblem occur when making steps 1 or 2 of the
buttonhole, desengage the buttonholer lever,
take about 10 stitches and remove fabric out of
machine. Then, repeat the procedure for a new
buttonhole. If a problem occur when making
steps 3 or 4, remove fabric out of machine and
repeat the procedure for a new buttonhole.
