9.4 Internal unit filters cleaning
Open the inlet grille by pulling it upwards (Fig. A).
Take out the filter by pushing the central tongue upwards until it is
released from its catch, then pull the filter downwards (Fig. B).
To clean the filter, use a vacuum cleaner, or wash it with warm water.
If you have washed it, dry it in the shade.
Insert the filter into the guide, press it into the unit and pull it downwards
at the same time, until it catches (Fig. D).
Re-close the inlet grille.
Attention!
A dirty filter reduces the air conditioner's performance.

9.5 Condensation water dry check
When using the air conditioner in the summer time check that the conden-
sation water is drained correctly from the indoor unit.
- Check the outflow of water from the end of the condensation discharge
pipe after the air conditioner has functioned for one hour.
- If there is no outflow of water, ask the authorized service centre to carry
out the necessary checks.
9.6 Before a long inactivity of the air conditioner
- Turn off the air conditioner and disconnect the electrical supply.
- Remove the batteries from the remote control.
- Cover the outdoor unit with a suitable protective cover.
9.7 At the air conditioner restart after a long
inactivity
- Remove the protective cover from the outdoor unit and check if it is
clean.
- Clean the indoor unit filters.
- Put the batteries back into the remote control.
- Restore electric current and turn on the air conditioner using the remote
control.
9.8 Extraordinary maintenance
9.8.1 Sanitizing
At every season change (summer/winter) or when the unit has to be restar-
ted after a long period of inactivity, please contact the Customer Service
and ask for sanitizing the internal unit.
9.8.1 Overall check of the whole system
Please also ask to the Customer Service every two years for a complete
check of the whole system conditions (electric system, refrigerant, con-
densation drain system)
