11. CONTROL PANEL

DIGITAL DISPLAY
The digital display indicates the
status of the battery and charger. See
Display Messages for a complete list of
messages.
NOTE: For energy efficiency during
charging, the display will go into sleep
mode and will not display any messages.
To turn the display back on, press the
display/ON button.
12. SETTING UP THE WI-FI CONNECTION
To connect the charger to the internet,
you must have Wi-Fi signal in the area
where the charger will be used. The
easiest way to do this is to first set up the
Wi-Fi near your wireless router and then
move the charger to the area where you
will be using it. To set up the charger, you
will need a smartphone with Wi-Fi, the
name of your Wi-Fi network (SSID) and
its wireless password.
1. Plug the DH111 charger into a live
grounded 120V AC outlet.
2. Wait for the scrolling messages to
appear on the display.
3. Press and hold the Display button until
the display scrolls "WIFI SETUP MODE".
NOTE: WiFi Setup Mode must be
entered within 30 seconds.
4. Release the Display button. The unit is
now a WiFi access point, which will be
able to connect to your smartphone.
5. On your smartphone, find the Settings
icon. Press to enter Settings and then
go to the Wi-Fi section.
LED INDICATORS
BLUE (CONNECTED) LED solid –
The charger is connected to WiFi.
GREEN (CHARGING/CHARGED) LED
solid – The charger is charging the battery.
GREEN (CHARGING/CHARGED) LED
pulsing – The battery is fully charged and
the charger is in maintain mode.
RED (TROUBLE) LED solid – The battery
is bad. See Aborted Charge section.
6. Under Available Networks, find
DieHard_3A_WiFi. Press to select and
join this network (no password required).
7. Close Settings and open your browser.
8. In the search bar, type: device.config
and then press Go. This should bring
you to the Setup page.
9. Find your WiFi network; press to select.
10. Enter your WiFi password and press
to connect. After connecting, the unit
will stop being an access point.
11. The charger's blue Connected LED
will light to indicate a successful
connection to the network. This may
take 1-2 minutes.
12. Download the App and open.
