CPR release at the backrest (optional)
The release for the emergency lowering of
the backrest has been moved to the top end
of the backrest (A). Hold the grab handle (B),
and only then pull at the red handle (A) in the
direction of the arrow. Then slowly move the
backrest down.
CAUTION! When using the CPR, always
first hold the backrest on the mattress
restricting bar (B) and then move it down
slowly.
8.2. LEGS UP POSITION (LU)
Caution! For reasons of safety, this position may only be released by medical staff, or
only "under medical supervision"! The handset keys are released via the safety key!
Due to the intended use, a Trendelenburg position is not necessary!
Caution! The legs up position is not used for elderly care beds for acute care in an
emergency/shock position. Primarily this function is used only for effortlessly setting
the legs up position for therapeutic reasons!
To avoid the risk of accidentally moving the bed to the Trendelenburg position, it
is strongly recommended that the backrest is raised by about the width of a hand
simultaneously with the legs up position. It is important that the head of the
patient remains higher than the orthostatic point of the body.
8.3. COMFORTABLE SITTING
Caution! In conjunction with a bed extension, there is a danger of entrapment bet-
ween the extension and the floor – and of the foot section or head section coming
into contact with the floor! Prior to every adjustment of the comfort seating posi-
tion, it is essential that the patient surface is moved to an appropriate height! The
same applies when a linen holder is used!
Caution! For reasons of safety, this position may only be released by medical staff,
or only "under medical supervision"! The handset keys are released via the safety
key! (Chapter "Rear Side of Handset with Locking Function")
