Safety measures and advice

Read carefully this chapter before using the BP012 or the AP602.
The AP602 is specially designed to fit the BP012. It gives the BP012 the
maximum power it can handle. Using both together is the perfect solution and
reduces to the minimum the safety measures to take into account.

8.1 Safety Measures and advice on the BP012 Loudspeaker

If you use the BP012 without the AP602, consult the technical data about the
impedance and maximum power on the technical specifications.
Do not remove the loudspeaker protection grids; its cones could be damaged.
Do not expose the BP012 to rain or water splashes.
This equipment only can work with the accessories mentioned in the
accessories section. In case that using a different accessories and that this
causes a failure in the equipment,
this failure. Then the equipment will lose its warranty.
If you have to emit noise at high volume, it is necessary that you gradually
increase the volume; otherwise the displacement of the coils could potentially
damage the speakers.

8.2 Safety Measures and advice on the AP602 Amplifier

Whenever you connect the line output or input of the AP602 to other external
equipment, do it with the AP602 switched off and consult the impedance and
voltage levels data on the technical specifications chapter. If you also connect
the BP012 to this configuration, be sure that all the technical specifications
(see 7.2) are accomplished. If these specifications are not respected, this
external equipment, the AP602 or even the BP012 could be damaged.
If you connect to the AP602 a loudspeaker that it is not the BP012, verify that
this loudspeaker has impedance acceptable by the AP602 and that its power
capacity is higher than the power feeding it.
Do not obstruct the air inputs and outputs of the cooling circuit with any kind of
object.
The environment must be dry and dustless.
Do not expose the AP602 to rain or water splashes, and do not place liquid
containers or incandescent objects like candles on top of the unit.
