1. INTRODUCTION
Dear Customer, first and foremost we would like to thank you for
having chosen our machine. It was designed in line with our extensive
range of experience and manufactured using quality materials and a
certified process, in order to guarantee you enjoy satisfactory and long
lasting utilisation.
Attention
Before starting the machine, we strongly urge you to
carefully read this manual, which forms an integral part
of the machine, and contains important information re-
garding its safe use and maintenance. Reading the man-
ual will help you avoid any danger to yourself or other
people, as well as any damage to the machine. In addi-
tion, you should keep this manual in a safe place and
hand it over with the machine to any subsequent users;
should the present booklet be damaged or lost, ask your
retailer for another copy, informing him of the machine's
serial number.
2. USE
High pressure cleaners in the SALLY series are professional high
pressure warm or cold water cleaning and washing machines. They are
designed exclusively for cleaning tools, machines, vehicles, buildings
and other surfaces which can be subjected to a high pressure water jet.
Any other use must be considered improper. The manufacturer is ab-
solutely not liable for any damage caused to people or things due to
improper use of the machine, or failure to respect the safety prescrip-
tions and those relative to maintenance.
By applying an appropriate accessory to the high pressure cleaner
the machine can carry out hydrosanding operations.
3. REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF PACKAGING
If the packaging displays any signs of damage or tampering, the
retailer should be immediately contacted.
The machine is enclosed within a nylon bag, inside the packaging.
To remove the packaging used during transport it is necessary to:
• remove the plastic strap fastening the item to the wooden base;
• remove the cardboard box, extracting it vertically;
• remove the standard accessories;
• remove the sheet metal straps which impede movement of the
machine's wheels;
• take hold of the lever, lift the high pressure cleaner so as to re-
lease the rear wheels from the locks, then rotate the machine us-
ing the wheel/front foot as a pivot, and rest the rear wheels on
the ground;
• press the handle and pull the machine back, allowing it to de-
scend from the footboard.
Attention
Never try to manually lift the high pressure cleaner: its
excessive weight could cause serious physical injury.
Packaging elements must not be left within reach of
children and/or youngsters since they can pose a threat
to the safety of the same.
4. PACKAGING CONTENTS: STANDARD
EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES
The packaging contains (see Fig. 1): machine body; handle; high
pressure pipe (8 m); spray gun with semi-lance and lance with nozzle.

After removing the machine and its accessories from the packag-
ing, check they are in good condition. Where you have any doubts, do
not use the high pressure cleaner and/or its accessories and contact
your retailer. Also check that the rating plate is present, which also indi-
cates the main technical data for the machine; if anything is missing,
immediately inform your retailer (see Fig. 2).
The manufacturer provides a machine which, for packaging com-
pactness and transport reasons, is partially disassembled within the
packaging, without the same compromising the safe use of the ma-
chine. It is the user's responsibility to place the machine in correct and
safe functional conditions, mounting the standard accessories in com-
pliance with the assembly instructions set out in paragraph "6".
The following can be supplied as accessories (see Fig. 3 for the
main items and refer to the catalogue for a complete list):
• manual hose reel kit;
5. SAFETY INDICATIONS AND GENERAL
WARNINGS
Before start-up, carefully read the instructions contained in the
present manual and follow them scrupulously.
We recommend:
• allowing only expert personnel to use the high pressure cleaner.
The equipment must not be used by children and youngsters;
• do not handgrip the plug with wet hands;
• connect the high pressure cleaner to an electric panel with elec-
tricity supply specifications in compliance with those set out on
the machine;
• connect the electric cable to an electric panel provided with a
magneto-thermal switch with differential (sensitivity 30 mA);
• connect the machine to an electricity power supply provided with
earthing;
• do not hold the electricity cable and protect it against any acci-
dental crushing;
• do not use cables with low quality protections;
• any electricity extension cables must comply with standards and
have a section at least equal to that of the machine power supply
cable;
• before carrying out any cleaning and/or maintenance operation,
disconnect the high pressure cleaner from the electricity and wa-
ter mains supply;
• do not pull the cable to disconnect the plug, and do not pull the
pipes or cable to move the machine;
• always ensure that all the flexible connection pipes are properly
fastened;
• check that the flexible connection pipe between the spray gun
and the high pressure cleaner has not been throttled or damaged;
where damage has occurred, the same should be replaced imme-
diately, since the pipe, as with the spray gun, junctions and elec-
tricity cable, is important for the safety of the high pressure
cleaner;
• use only original spare parts approved by the manufacturer,
which offer a guarantee of safe functioning for the equipment;
• check the equipment before start-up and supervise it regularly
during use, preventing any children and/or animals from ap-
proaching it;
