1 Operating Elements and Connections

1.1 Light effect panel

The individual LED fields are marked with F 1 to F 8 in
fig. 1; chapter 10.1 for further information.
1 Holding support for vertical suspension from a wall
2 Mounting brackets for suspension from a cross bar
or for other mounting facilities
3 Connection POWER LINK OUTPUT for power sup-
ply of another RGBL-82DMX
4 Mains jack for connection to a socket (230 V~/
50 Hz) via the supplied mains cable or for connec-
tion to the jack POWER LINK OUTPUT (3) of
another RGBL-82DMX
5 Support for the mains fuse
Only replace a blown fuse by one of the same type.
6 Connection jack for the remote control LC-3
7 DMX signal output (3-pole XLR) for connection to
the DMX input of another DMX light effect unit;
pin 1 = ground, 2 = DMX-, 3 = DMX+
8 DMX signal input (3-pole XLR) for connection of a
light controller;
pin 1 = ground, 2 = DMX-, 3 = DMX+
9 LED DMX lights up when DMX control signals are
present at the DMX INPUT (8)
10 LED MASTER lights up in the master mode
(operation without DMX controller or with the

remote control LC-3)

11 Button MENU to call the adjusting menu and to
select the menu items
12 Buttons DOWN and UP to change an adjustment in
the menu
13 Button ENTER to activate a menu item and to store
an adjustment
14 LED SOUND lights up shortly for music control via
the internal microphone
15 LED SLAVE lights up in the slave mode
(control by another RGBL-82DMX)

1.2 Remote control LC-3
The remote control is available as an accessory and
not supplied with the RGBL-82DMX.
17 Button STAND BY to switch the LEDs on and off
18 Button FUNCTION to select different functions
depending on the function mode selected with but-
ton MODE (19) [
19 Button MODE to switch between:
- show programme No. 0 (
The LED of button MODE does not light up.
- Function of colour surface: nine preset colours
and a colour which has been manually adjusted
can be selected with button FUNCTION.
The LED of button MODE lights permanently.
