2 Jack AC POWER IN for connecting the power sup-
ply unit provided
3 MIC inputs (XLR, bal.) for connecting microphones
to the mono channels 1 and 2; a 48 V phantom
power can be activated (→ item 21)
4 LINE inputs (6.3 mm jacks, bal.) for connecting
units with line output level (e. g. musical instru-
ments, CD players) to the mono channels 1 and 2
and the stereo channels 3/4 and 5/6
Note: When connecting a mono unit to a stereo channel,
only use the jack L (MONO).
5 GAIN controls for adjusting the input amplification
for the channels 1 and 2
6 Equalizer controls for the channels 1 to 5/6:
HIGH, MID, LOW
7 AUX/EFF controls for the channels 1 to 5/6 for mix-
ing the channel signals to the effect AUX way [sig-
nal will be picked up after the LEVEL controls (10)]
8 Overload LEDs PEAK for the channels 1 and 2; if
the LED of a channel is permanently illuminated,
reduce the channel level by means of the GAIN
control (5) and/or the equalizer controls (6)
9 PAN controls for distributing the mono signals of
the channels 1 and 2 to the stereo master signal
and BAL controls for adjusting the balance for the
stereo signals of the channels 3/4 and 5/6
10 LEVEL controls for mixing the signals of the chan-
nels 1 to 5/6 to the master signal
11 Stereo input STEREO AUX RETURNS (6.3 mm
jacks, unbal.); to connect the output of an effect unit
or an additional audio source with line output level
Note: When connecting a mono unit, only use the jack L
(MONO).
12 Mono output AUX SEND (6.3 mm jack, unbal.) for
the effect AUX way; to connect the input of an effect
unit
13 Stereo master output MAIN OUT (6.3 mm jacks,
unbal.) for connecting the main amplifier
14 Stereo input TAPE IN (phono jacks) for connecting
a recorder for reproduction or another reproducer
such as a CD player
15 Stereo output REC OUT (phono jacks) for connect-
ing a recorder
16 Stereo output CTRL R OUT (6.3 mm jacks, unbal.)
for connecting the amplifier of a monitor system
17 Output PHONES (6.3 mm jack) for connecting
stereo headphones (minimum impedance 32 Ω)
8
18 AUX RETURN control for mixing the signal of the
input STEREO AUX RETURNS (11) to the master
signal
19 AUX SEND control: will define the level at which
the output signal of the effect way is sent to the out-
put AUX SEND (12)
20 Volume control HEADPHONES/CTRL R for the
monitor signal at the outputs CTRL R OUT (16) and
PHONES (17)
21 Button +48 V PHANTOM POWER: when the button
is pressed, a 48 V phantom power will be activated
for both microphone inputs MIC (3)
Please observe the "CAUTION note" in chapter
4.1.1.
22 Button TAPE TO CONTROL: when the button is
pressed, the signal of the jacks TAPE IN (14) will be
switched to the outputs CTRL R OUT (16) and
PHONES (17) and indicated via the LED VU-meter
(26)
23 Button TAPE TO MIX: when the button is pressed,
the signal of the jacks TAPE IN (14) will be switched
to the master signal
24 LED +48 V: will be on when the 48 V phantom
power for the inputs MIC (3) has been activated
[button +48 V PHANTON POWER (21) pressed]
25 POWER LED
26 LED VU-meter: will indicate the level of the master
signal or, when the button TAPE TO CONTROL
(22) is pressed, the level of the input signal of the
jacks TAPE IN (14)

Safety Notes
The units (mixer and power supply unit) correspond
to all required directives of the EU and are therefore
marked with
.
WARNING
The power supply unit uses dangerous
mains voltage (230 V~). Leave servic-
ing to skilled personnel only; inexpert
handling may result in electric shock.
Please observe the following items in any case:
G
The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect
them against dripping water and splash water, high
air humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).
