AUDIO SETTINGS

For key layout on the faceplate, see page 3 or page 4.
Select a preset equalizer directly
Press EQ-BASS repeatedly.
(or)
Press EQ-BASS, then turn the volume knob within 5 seconds.
Preset equalizer:
[FLAT] (default)/[DRVN 3]/[DRVN 2]/[DRVN 1]/[HARD ROCK]/[HIP HOP]/[JAZZ]/[POP]/
[R&B]/[TALK]/[USER]/[VOCAL BOOST]/[BASS BOOST]/[CLASSICAL]/[DANCE]
• Drive equalizer ([DRVN 3]/[DRVN 2]/[DRVN 1]) boosts specific frequencies in
the audio signal to reduce the noise heard from outside the car or running
noise of the tyres.

Drive equalizer: [DRVN 3] (default)/[DRVN 2]/[DRVN 1]
Store your own sound settings

Press and hold the following button to enter [EASY EQ] setting.
KD-T409/KD-T402: EQ-BASS
KD-T401: drvn-BASS
2 Perform 'Select an item (page 3 or 4)' operation to make the
setting.
Refer to [EASY EQ] for setting and the result is stored to [USER].

item (see the following table).

Repeat step 2 until the desired item is selected/activated or follow the
instructions stated on the selected item.

[PRESET EQ] Selects a preset equalizer suitable to the music genre.
• Select [USER] to use the settings made in [EASY EQ] or [PRO EQ].
