For decorative edges.
Suitable for edges on sheer, fine and stretch fabrics. The wider
part of the stitch should
go just over the folded edge of the
fabric to create the shell effect.

stitch

For a delicate edge finish along the edge of fabric.
Rampart (c)
Gathering with cord or shirring elastic.
This stitch can be used for firm, thicker fabrics.
