The Kimba Cross mobility base / pediatric postural positioning system is a quality product of-
fering versatile use in everyday life.
Before using your Kimba Cross please read sections: "Unpacking and Setting up" and "Safety
Instructions". Please keep these instructions in a safe place.
The section "Accessories" presents additional parts for the Kimba Cross, which may extend the
range of application and increase the comfort.
If you have any further questions, or if you have any problems, please contact your healthcare
provider.

notice.
1.2 Intended Use

The prescription of a pediatric postural positioning system is generally indicated for the severely
disabled, especially for children and young people who are unable to walk, need to be trans-
ported and are unable to operate a wheelchair themselves.
1.3 Field of Application
Inability to walk or very serious walking impediment due to:
• Palsies
• Paralysis
• Loss of limbs
• Defective and/or deformed limbs
• Joint contractures
• Joint defects
• Other diseases
The Kimba Cross was specially designed for use with the Kimba seating unit.
