NOTICE
Damage caused by objects lying upon the appliance If appliances are transported in the folded
state, the weight of objects lying upon the appliance can cause deformations and result in problems
when unfolding the appliance. Never put heavy objects on a folded rehabilitation device.
In the original package you will find the following components:
• Frame, folded
• Two rear wheels with quick-release axle
• One front wheel with quick-release lock and mounted splash guard
• Kimba seating unit (if included in the order)
• Instructions for Use and Allen wrench, size 4
• Accessories as ordered
To unfold the frame please proceed as follows:
• Carefully remove the transport safety snaps and packaging material.
• Next, remove the locking pin from the frame lugs (Fig. 1).
• Fold up the pushbar (Fig. 2) and position the back brace between the two lugs. The back
brace has three bore holes which let you set the pushbar at different angles. Select the
appropriate back brace hole for your desired pushbar angle (Fig. 3). Put the locking pin
through the selected hole in the back brace and through the lugs and then secure with the
clip (Fig. 4). For mounting the rear wheels to the frame, insert the quick-release axles into the
rear wheels and press the quick-release axle with the wheel into the axle housing (Fig. 5).
Make sure that the axles have correctly locked in place!

bled splash guard, please proceed as follows: Insert the front wheel with splash guard into
the fork and push it to the rear and up (Fig. 6). Close the eccentric lever of the quick-release
axle. Make sure the recess in the back of the splash guard engages the crossbrace of the
front frame (Fig. 7).
Make sure the axle is properly engaged and has enough clamping pressure!
INfORMATION
• The clamping pressure can be adjusted by turning the quick-release lever or the counternut.
• To fold the Kimba Cross together, please reverse the directions mentioned above.
