EMERGENCY FUNCTIONS
DESCRIPTION:
In case of loss of the remote control with system engaged, the emergency functions will allow releasing the
alarm. These functions are of two types: hardware and software.
HARDWARE FUNCTION, ELECTRONIC KEY:
The electronic key is a replica of the remote control without the radio component. When the alarm is
engaged, simply lay the key on its housing, the alarm will immediately deactivate notifying the operation as
described in the DEACTIVATION chapter.
SOFTWARE FUNCTION, PIN CODE:
The PIN CODE is a two-digit code residing in the alarm's memory that will be prompted by the same after an
alarm cycle or during the anti-theft function if the electronic key is not available. The system will be
immediately deactivated when inputting the correct code. The pin code is input as follows:
1. When the alarm is engaged, turn on and off the vehicle's activation panel.
2. An alarm status will be triggered and the siren begins to buzz, completing the buzzing cycle (30 sec.)
3. While the siren is buzzing, turn on the vehicle's panel again.
4. The led installed on-board the vehicle begins to emit a series of flashing.
5. Carefully count the number of flashing emitted by the led.
6. Once the number of flashing reaches the first digit of the PIN CODE, turn off the activation panel to
confirm.
7. Turn on the vehicle's activation panel again.
8. The led installed on-board the vehicle will continue flashing (in practice, re-starting counting from
value 1) to allow inputting the second digit of the PIN CODE.
ü Despite re-starting counting from value 1, the led will continue to flash with the same frequency
in order to hide the stored PIN CODE.
9. Carefully count the number of flashing emitted by the led.
10. Once the number of flashing reaches the second digit of the PIN CODE, turn off the activation panel
to confirm.
ü If one of the two input digits is wrong, the siren will complete the alarm cycle and it will not be
possible to perform a new attempt to disengage the emergency until the end of the cycle.
ü If the second input digit is correct, the system will be immediately disengaged, notifying the
operation as described in the DEACTIVATION chapter, adding the alarm's log for non-
authorised panel activation.
NOTE:
This procedure can also be used to reset the "ANTI-THEFT" function in case the electronic key is not
available.
In anti-theft function, the siren will be activated unlimitedly for 30 sec. with a pause of 10 sec. until the
function is disabled through the same electronic key or PIN CODE.
