To switch ON and OFF the Lawn Mower
Ensure that there is oil in the crakcase and that it is at
 
the correct level.
Verify if there is gasoline in the fuel tank and if the
 
fuel valve is opened.
Refuel only with regular unleaded gasoline (no
 
additives).
Hold on tight the break retractile lever along with
 
the cable. This engine has manual choke, therefore,
position the accelerator lever in the maximum
position to flood the engine (Fig. 1 - page 50). Position
the acceleration lever in the position indicated by the
choke symbol, according to the following figure.
Slightly pull the engine retractile start rope up to
 
find resistance, then, pull it abruptly. Repeat the
operation up to the engine works.
Leave the engine heating up for a few minutes and
 
then position the accelerator cable in the work
position (bunny symbol) according to the indication
in the accelerator cable to initiate the grass cutting.
In order to turn off the engine in an emergency
 
situation, just release the break lever.
In order to turn the engine off in a normal condition,
 
perform the work normally with the fuel valve
closed and wait for the fuel from the carburetor be
consumed, following release the break lever.
Front Wheel with Traction System
Some mower models are provided with front wheel
drive. Operate the drive system as described below:
Keep the engine retractile break lever in the
 
operation position with the engine on (Fig. 1 and 2).
Pull the traction actuation lever fully forward up to
 
hear a click, only then, release the lever and the
traction system will be activated.
Note:
The average consumption may vary
 
according to the job requirements and
operator.
Notes:
Do not use the choke when the engine
 
is hot. If, even hot, the engine does not
start, trigger the choke in order to start.
The engine does not respond when
 
accelerating without
effort), it increases the rotation when
the machine is submitted to the work
(one must not, in any hypothesis, to
alter the original spring pressure of the
accelerator).

Tilt a little the front wheel in order to test the traction
 
actuation, as soon as you feel it safe regarding the
traction system operation, begin the work.
The wheel speed is proportional to the engine
 
acceleration; as soon as the traction is activated
gradually accelerate the engine in order to not feel
an impact. In an emergency situation, release the
break lever so that the traction and the engine are
immediately turned off.
