To disengage the drive system only, release the
 
brake retractable lever approximately 5 cm.
The drive system will not be engaged, but the
motor will still operate.
To turn the engine off in a normal work conditions,
 
follow the instructions on page 49.

If the traction system or the throttle
cable are not working properly, please
contact a Trapp Authorized Technical
Assistance.

Before removing the belt, disconnect the spark
plug cable with the machine turned off.
Remove the belt protection (Fig. 3).
 
Loosen the belt tension screw (Fig. 4).
 
Remove the belt from the front pulley of the
 
transmission unit.

In order to remove the rear belt pulley in the engine
 
shaft, remove the lower cover of the belt fixed over
the cutting blade and then remove the belt (Fig. 5).
If necessary remove the cutting blade flange fixed in
the engine shaft.
To assemble the traction belt, invert the previous
 
steps.
Adjust the pulley tension by tightening the tension
 
screw.
Replace the belt protection (Fig. 3).
 
Before initiating a work with the mower, reinstall
 
the spark plug cable and after turning the engine on
verify if the traction system is normally working, if it
presents any problem, get into contact with a TRAPP
Authorized Technical Assistant.
