5.1 Mounting the Outer Sole

Required tools and materials:
710D4 Torque Wrench, degreasing cleaner (e.g. 634A58), 636K13
Loctite® 241
1) Clean the mounting surface on the prosthetic foot and, if necessary, on
the outer sole too with a degreasing cleaner.
2) Mount the outer sole onto the prosthetic foot (see fig. 3).
3) Secure the screw connection with Loctite.
4) Screw the outer sole on to the prosthetic foot with two oval head screws
(see fig. 4) (mounting torque: 4 Nm).
5.2 Installing the Spikes (only for 2Z501)

710Z3 Spike Key
► Use the spike key to screw the spikes into the thread on the outer sole
and tighten by hand (see fig. 5).

CAUTION
Incorrect use of prosthetic foot and outer sole
Risk of injury due to lack of surface grip and damage to the product
► Only use the prosthetic foot with an outer sole.
► Only use outer soles with spikes on sports floors suitable for this pur­
pose.
The 2Z500 Outer Sole is suitable for recreational running sports on various
surfaces. The outer sole has a multilayered construction and adapts to
bends and uneven surfaces. It features a low-wear, self-cleaning tread.

The 2Z501 Outer Sole with spikes is suitable for recreational and competit­
ive sport on relevant surfaces. Worn spikes can be replaced individually.
