Selecting Audio Mode
✤ The Audio Mode function works in both REC and PLAY modes.
✤ This Camcorder records sound in two ways. (12Bit, 16Bit)
- 12Bit: You can record two 12Bit stereo sound tracks.
The original stereo sound can be recorded onto the Main
(Sound1) track. Additional stereo sound can be dubbed
onto the Sub (Sound2) track.
- 16Bit: You can record one high quality stereo sound using the
16Bit recording mode. Audio dubbing is not possible when
using this mode.
1. Set the Power switch to REC or PLAY.
2. Press the MENU button.

The menu list will appear.
3. Move the Joystick up or down to select Record,
then press the Joystick(OK).
4. Move the Joystick up or down to select Audio
Mode, then press the Joystick(OK).
5. Move the Joystick up or down to select desired
audio mode (12Bit or 16Bit), then press the
Joystick(OK).
6. To exit, press the MENU button.
[ Note ]
When 12Bit is selected, no 12Bit indication will be
displayed on the screen.

Selección de modalidad de audio
✤ La función Audio Mode (Modo Audio) está operativa en las
modalidades REC y PLAY.
✤ Esta videocámara graba sonidos de dos modalidades distintas:
(12 bits y 16 bits)

12Bit: es posible grabar dos pistas de sonido de 12 bits en
estéreo. El sonido original estéreo se puede grabar en la pista
principal (Sound1). Se puede grabar sonido estéreo adicional
de mezcla en la pista secundaria (Sound2).

16Bit: es posible grabar una pista estéreo de alta calidad de 16
bits. En esta modalidad no es posible hacer mezclas.

1. Coloque el interruptor Power en REC o PLAY.
2. Pulse el botón MENU.

Aparece la lista del menú.
3. Mueva el Joystick hacia arriba o hacia abajo
para seleccionar Record (Grabar) y pulse el
Joystick(OK).
4. Mueva el Joystick hacia arriba o hacia abajo
para seleccionar Audio Mode (Modo Audio) y
pulse el Joystick(OK).
5. Mueva el Joystick hacia arriba o hacia abajo
para seleccionar la modalidad de audio que
desea (12Bit o 16Bit) y pulse el Joystick(OK).
6. Para salir, pulse el botón MENU.
[Nota]
Cuando se selecciona 12Bit, no aparece ninguna
indicación de 12Bit en pantalla.
