• Fit the rear wheels in the same way.
Folding (see illustrations 09 - 12)
• Move the red lever forwards and simultaneously press the unlocking pedal
upwards (fig .09 - 10).
• Next, push the safety device downwards on the left bar (fig. 10).
• Lastly, tilt the two bars forwards (fig. 11) until the frame is completely folded (fig. 12).
Locking the front wheels (see illustrations 13 - 14)
• The front wheels can be fixed in place or left free. To be used freely the small
levers on both sides should be placed in the upper position (fig.13). To fix them in
place, move these levers downwards and as soon as the chair begins to move the
wheels will automatically lock into place (fig.14).
Adjusting the height of the handlebar (see illustrations 15 - 17)
• Adjust the height of the handlebar by pressing the button situated underneath the
handle (fig. 15).Pull the handle until it is in its upper position (fig. 16). Repeat the
operation and push the handle downwards for the lower position (fig. 17).
Adjusting the backrest (see illustrations 18 - 20)
• The backrest of the DOWNTOWN has 4 reclining positions, pull the flange on
the adjusting system upwards (fig. 18), and move the backrest up or down to the
required position, (fig. 19 - 20) release the flange once the required position has
been selected.
Hood and rain protector (see illustrations 21 - 27)
• Fit the hood by inserting the strips on both ends into the slots situated on main
bars of the chair (fig. 21). They will click when correctly fastened.
• The hood has two parts that can be removed using the zip on the upper part (fig.
22 - 24).
• The rain protector is fitted on the chair with the hood extended (fig. 25), then close
the Velcro strips on the side to fit it (fig. 26 - 27).
Basket (see illustrations 28 - 30)
• The basket on the lower part of the chair is fastened using clips on the front part (fig.
28) and buckles on the rear part, this means it can easily be removed (fig. 29 - 30).
• The maximum weight the basket can carry is 2,5 kg.
• It is advisable to empty the basket before folding the chair.
