Keep electrical equipment out of reach of children

Never allow children to use electrical appliances without supervision.
DANGER!
Keep plastic packaging out of the reach of children. There is a risk of
suffocation.
This device is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or by people who lack the experience or
knowledge to use it, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their
safety or have been instructed on its use. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the device.

Setting up the device in a safe place

If the device has been moved from a cold to a warm room, wait a while before con-
necting it to the power supply. The ensuing condensation could damage the device.
The device can be operated safely as soon as it has reached room temperature.
Observe the following instructions:
Allow at least 10 cm clearance at the sides and top of the device if it is placed in a
rack or a similar enclosed space;
Do not expose the device to direct sources of heat (for example, heaters);
Do not place the device in direct sunlight;
Contact with moisture or drips must be avoided. Do not therefore place any ob-
jects filled with liquid, for example vases, on the device;
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures;
Do not place the device close to magnetic fields (for example, televisions or other
loudspeakers);
Do not place naked flames (for example, lit candles) near or on the device.

Ensure accessibility of mains power socket

Only connect the device to a power point (230 V ~ 50 Hz) that is easy to reach and
close to the place where you have set up the device. The socket must be easily ac-
cessible so that you can quickly unplug the device from the mains if necessary.
Do not use the device if the device or the cable is visibly damaged or if the device
has been dropped.
Make sure that the mains cable does not present a trip hazard. The connecting ca-
ble must not be trapped or squashed.
