Radio operation

 Turn the function switch to the desired position.
 Use the switch to select the desired frequency range: F M or A M .

Volume

 The V O L U M E button at the top of the device lets you control the volume.

Tuning

 Now use the frequency control to select the required station.
The scale around the frequency control is divided into an upper half and a lower half.
The FM frequency range may be found in the upper half, the MW frequency range in
the lower half.

Playing sound from an external device

The L I N E I N connection can be used to play sound from a different playback device
(for example, an MP3 player) on the radio's loudspeakers.
 Switch the device on.
 Switch off your external device.
 Insert the end of a 3.5 mm jack cable into the L I N E I N connection at the side of
the device.
 Connect the other end of the cable with your external device (for example, L I N E
O U T ).
 Switch your external device on; the playback of the selection station is interrupted
and sound from your external device is played via the loudspeakers.
