Unidirectional Infrared signals are sent from the Handy to the control; the
control does not "reply" to the Handy.
Bidirectional Infrared signals are sent from the Handy to the control; the
control "replies" to the Handy.

These operating instructions describe the operation of unidirectional
controls.
The Geberit HyTronic Service Handy is used for setting and querying setting values
of different electronic Geberit products such as washbasin taps, WC controls, urinal
controls and hygiene pumps. In case of misuse, no guarantee or liability claims in
the event of personal injury or material damage are accepted.
The HyTronic Service Handy communicates with the control via an infrared
interface. To make any settings, the Service Handy has to be aimed at the sensor
from a distance of 10 - 30 cm. Do not turn it away during operation. Otherwise, a
different control might be addressed.
Do not hold the device in the area of the water jet during operation.
