4.1 Functions
4.1.1 Pushbar
Thepushbarcanbeadjustedinheightandangletobetterfittheattendant.
Adjusting the Height of the Pushbar
Loosentheclampingleveronbothsides,movethepushbartothedesiredheightandre-tighten
theclampingleversuntiltheyaresnug(Fig.13).
Adjusting the Angle of the Pushbar
Flipuptheclipofthelockingpinandpulloutthelockingpintoreleasethebackbrace.Choose
anotherholeinthebackbracetochangethepushbarangle.Therearethreepossiblepositions.
Reinsertthelockingpinandsecurewiththeclip(Fig.14).
4.1.2 Brakes: Operation and Adjustment
Pullthelargebrakeleverstoapplythedrumbrakes(Fig.72,itemA).Simultaneouslymovethe
smallleversdownwards(Fig.72,itemB)tolockthebrakes.Pullthelargebrakelevers(Fig.72,
itemA)againtoreleasethebrakes.
Youcanadjustthedrumbrakes(independentlyontheleftandrightside)toalwaysachieve
optimalbraking.Todothis,loosenthecounternut(Fig.73,itemA)andturntheadjustmentnut
(Fig.73,itemB)untilyoureachthebrakingeffectyoudesire.Snuglyre-tightenthecounter
nut.
4.1.3 Adjusting the Seat Tilt
Tochangetheangleoftheseatingunit,loosentheturninghandleontheleftframeside(in
drivingdirection)uptothestop.Next,pushinthespring-mountedturninghandletoreleasethe
adjustmentbar.Theseatcannowbemovedfreelyaroundtheaxleoftheseatadapter.Bring
theseatintothedesiredposition,releasetheturninghandleandwiggletheseatbackandforth
tore-engageitwiththeadjustmentbar.

4.1.4 Frame Length/Adjusting the Wheelbase
Thetelescopingfrontframeletsyouusemountedseatingunitsofvarioussizes,andoffersa
wheelbaseadjustmentrangebetween800mmto920mm.Tochangethewheelbase,loosen
andremovethetwoscrewsoneithersideoftheovaltubefrontframe.Pushinorpulloutthe
frontsectionuntilthedesiredpositionhasbeenreached(Fig.16,17).
Repositionthescrewsandsnuglyre-tighten.Eachpositionmustbesecuredwithtwo
