2. While playback is stopped, press
MEMORY P01 001 shows in the
display. P01 stands for the first
program location where as 001 is the
track number.
• For MP3 or WMA discs. P01 01 001
shows in the display P01 stands for
the first program location, 01 is the
folder number and 001 is the file
number in folder 01
3. Press  or  to select the track
for the program location.
• For MP3 or WMA discs, press  or 
to select a folder before selecting a
file in the folder.
4. Press MEMORY to store the selected
track/file into the program location.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to program
more tracks/files. Up to 99 tracks can
be programmed.
6. Press  to start playback of the
programmed tracks/files. Playback
will stop after all programmed tracks/
files are played
• During program playback. Program
shows at the bottom of the display
7. To play back the programmed tracks/
files again, press MEMORY and then
press .
8. To cancel the programmed sequence
from the memory, press STOP in the
programming mode.
FM
To access the FM tuner mode:
Press FUNCTION repeatedly on the main
unit until FM mode is selected, or press
FM on the remote control.
To perform a station search:
• Press  or  to adjust the frequency.
Use this method to tune to weak or
distant stations that are not strong
enough to be recognized by the
automatic search.
• Press and hold  or  until the
frequency on the display begins to
change and then release the button
to automatically search for the next
available station
To automatically tune to the next
available station:
• Press AUTOSCAN to automatically
search for the next available station.
• The direction of the search depends
on the last tuning direction
To store a station manually as a preset:
1. Tune to a frequency and then press
MEMORY
2. Press  or  to select a preset
channel number
3. Press and hold OK or SELECT.
The frequency is stored as a preset
station
• If the selected preset number is
already occupied by another station,
the new station will overwrite the
previous one.
To turn on or off the stereo sound:
Press ST.MO to turn stereo mode on/off.
The display indicates which is chosen for
around 2 seconds.
To listen to a preset station:
1. In FM mode, press MEMORY
2. Press  or  to select a preset
number
3. Press OK or SELECT to listen to the
selected preset stations.
