Each indicator has a button for changing the
unbalance unit of measurement from grams to
ounces and vice versa.
By selecting the central part of the indicator, an
automatic centred position search starts if the
unbalance is higher than zero.
At the end of the dimension and unbalance
measurement cycle, warning indicators may
come on if the set acceptable tolerances are
exceeded (see the "Wheel balancer parameter
configuration" section):
1. WARNING OPT
This recommends performing the unbalance
optimisation procedure. Select the icon to
start the unbalance optimisation procedure
(see the "Unbalance Optimisation pro-
gramme" section).
2. WARNING ROD
This recommends performing the RUNOUT
analysis procedure. Select the icon to display
the radial runout measurement of the wheel
assembly when the icon is selected, the radial
run-out measured for the wheel assembly is
displayed if a wheel assembly is mounted,
or the radial run-out at the seats of the tyre
bead if a rim only is mounted (see the "Runout
programme" section).
3. WARNING CONFIRM BALANC-
ING PROGRAMME CHANGE
This icon is activated when the operator
changes the machine's balancing programme.
Press the icon to confirm the selected bal-
ancing programme. After this operation, the
machine may request confirmation of the
acquired dimensions; in this case, proceed as
described in the "wheel spin and automatic
dimension measurement" section.
To disable it, press the Stop button
or wait 50 seconds.

MAIN CONTROL KEYPAD

The main control keypad has the following
buttons:
1.
Help button
- recalls information on the current video page to
the screen. If an error message is displayed, the
first piece of information displayed refers to the
error list. The instructions called up by this icon
integrate (but do not replace) this User Manual.
2.
Automatic dimensions button
- This enables automatic dimension measure-
ment after which the icon is disabled at the
end of the balancing cycle (ie. dimension
reading is not repeated until the button is
re-enabled).
- This displays the page for manual entry of
dimensions if the laser sensors have been
disabled (see the "Wheel balancer parameter
configuration" section).
3.
Utility and configuration menu button
- This groups all the machine Utility and Con-
figuration programmes.
4.
Live button
- This is used to check and/or modify the balanc-
ing planes measured by the processing unit.
When the machine is switched on, the button
is NOT present as a spin must be performed
with dimension acquisition enabled;
5.
Start button
- This starts the unbalance measurement cycle
when the guard is lowered.
