1.
Check in accordance with Figure No. 3 if your car may tow anything (Contact your dealer with
your further questions).
2.
A factory-made bumper window is applicable: OE item number: C830-V3-924.
3.
Unpack the towing bracket and check its contents against the parts list. If necessary, remove
the underseal from around the fitting points of the luggage compartment / frame members.
4.
Dismount the rear lighting fittings, the bumper and the insert bumper. (The insert bumper will
no longer be used.) Screw the nuts fastening the insert bumper back to the rear panel. Put the
cables of the parking sensors into the boot for the untroubled mounting.
5.
Place the panel supporting the electronics located in the rear panel onto the other side of the
rear panel by using the attached bonding units in accordance with Figure 2.
6.
Remove the protective adhesive tape from the fixing points on the frame members (in the right
and left sides). Arrange the frame protection.
7.
Place the right and left (3,4) sideplates into the frame member, and then loosely fix them at
points "a" with the attached bonding units in accordance with the drawing. Take care that part
5 should lean up exactly on the bottom of the frame member, see the attached Figure 1.
8.
Loosely fix the crossbar (1) at points „b" with the attached bonding units in accordance with
Figure 6 as per the model of the car.
9.
Adjust the towing hook into mid-position, and then tighten all the screws:

10. Cut out the bumper in accordance with the attached cut-out template (see Figure 4,5) as per
the model of the car.
11. Fix the cables of the parking sensors onto the crossbar by means of the attached 4 pc clamps.
12. Remount all the removed parts onto the car (except for the inside bumper).
13. After about 1000 km use, re-tighten the bolts and nuts to the specified torque.
