Technical description
Setting the upper limit (limit 1) (mode 7)
The upper limit value is set in the selected unit of measure and confirmed with the
M button. The next mode (mode 8) is then reached. Here you can input a value be-
tween -55 °C and +210 °C. Bear in mind the measurement units which have been se-
lected.
Setting the lower limit (limit 2) (mode 8)
The lower limit value is set in the selected unit of measure and confirmed with the
M button, and the next mode (mode 9) is reached.
Offsetting the sensor (mode 9)
The sensor offset corrects the measuring signals and can be set between –100 and
+100 °C. (Measured value at the input + offset = output value)
The set offset value affects both the output signal and the display.
By pressing the M button the value is confirmed, and the nex mode (mode 10) is
reached.
Setting the current saturation limit (modes 10 and 11)
You can select output current values in the range above 20 mA and below 4 mA;
these then become the upper or lower current saturation limits.
Procedure:
Set the upper current saturation limit (mode 10)

The upper current saturation limit is set in mA and confirmed by pressing the
M button; this takes you to the next mode (mode 11).

The setting range is between 20.5 mA and 23 mA.
Setting the lower current saturation limit (mode 11)

The lower current saturation limit is set in mA and confirmed by pressing the
M button; this takes you to the next mode (mode 12).

The setting range is between 3.6 mA and 3.8 mA.
Setting electrical damping (mode 12)
The time response of the unit is determined by adjustable electrical damping. When
the device is delivered, this can be set to 0.2 s, but can be adjusted to between 0.1
and 100 s at intervals of 0.1 s.
Following parameterization and confirmation with the M button, the unit goes to mode 1.
