Operating Instructions SATA FDG
9.2. Pneumatic agitator
Attention!
Damage from too much air input pressure
The pneumatic motor can be damaged by too much air input pressure.
→ Do not exceed the maximum air input pressure of 7 bar.
■ Connect compressed air supply to pneumatic motor air connection
[11-3] / [12-3] / [15-4] / [16-4].
9.3. Motor driven agitator
Danger!
Fatal risk of electrocution
There is a risk of severe to fatal injuries when carrying out installation
and maintenance work with live voltage.
→ Before working on the electric agitator, disconnect the electric voltage
and protect it from being reconnected unintentionally. Only connect the
electric motor to power circuits that can be disconnected with an all-
phase power switch.
■ Connect the electric agitator to the power circuit as stated in the en-
closed documentation.
10. Normal Operation
Danger!
Fatal risk from exploding material pressure tank.
The build-up of static electricity when operating the tank can cause
sparking with the risk of the material pressure tank exploding.
→ Ensure that the pressure tank is adequately earthed.
→ Use a bleeder resistance of < 1MOhm.
→ Only use approved, conductive hoses.
10.1. Agitators
Hand agitator
The hand crank [9-1] / [13-1] can be used to agitate the material by hand.
