10.3. Adjusting the paint material and spray pressure
Adjusting the paint material pressure
The paint material pressure can be infinitely adjusted by turning the pres-
sure regulator [3-5] / [4-5] / [5-9] / [6-8].
■ Turning the pressure regulator counter-clockwise reduces the paint
material pressure.
■ Turning the pressure regulator clockwise increases the paint material
pressure.
Adjusting the spray pressure (for double pressure reducers only)
The spray pressure can be infinitely adjusted by turning the pressure reg-
ulator [4-6] / [6-9].
■ Turning the pressure regulator counter-clockwise reduces the spray
pressure.
■ Turning the pressure regulator clockwise increases the spray pressure.
10.4. Changing the spray medium
Danger!
Risk of death caused by unventilated paint pressure tank
Opening a paint pressure tank that is under pressure can cause an ex-
plosion.
→ Before each use, disconnect the paint pressure tank from the
compressed air supply and bleed completely via the ventilation valve
[3-4] / [4-4] / [5-6] / [6-5].
Danger!
Risk of injury caused by running agitator
Parts of the body and clothing can be drawn in when opening the paint
pressure tank while the agitator is running.
→ Switch off the agitator before opening, making sure that it cannot be
unintentionally switched back on.
Opening the paint pressure tank
■ Disconnect agitator from power / compressed air circuit, making sure
that it cannot be unintentionally switched back on.
■ Close ball valve for paint supply
[2-7] / [3-1] / [4-1] / [5-8] / [6-7] / [7-1] /[8-4].
■ Close ball valve for compressed air supply [3-9] / [4-9] / [5-2] / [6-1].
