2.2. Personal Protection Equipment
When using, cleaning and maintaining the paint pressure tank, always
wear approved respiratory protection, eye protection, suitable protective
gloves, work clothing and protective shoes.
2.3. Use In Explosive Areas
The paint pressure tank is approved for use / storage in potentially explo-
sive atmospheres classified as Ex Zone 1 and 2. Code:

2.4. Safety Instructions
Installation site
■ When setting up the paint pressure tank in potentially explosive atmo-
spheres, a qualified individual with sufficient knowledge of the ATEX
Directive must check the tank for compliance with existing work safety
regulations before initial use.
■ Always keep the paint pressure tank away from electrical equipment
that is not explosion proof.
■ Keep the paint pressure tank away from ignition sources such as open
flames, burning cigarettes or flying sparks.
■ Work areas in which hazardous substances are stored or applied must
provide adequate ventilation. In case of ventilation failure, immediately
stop working and switch off all agitators.
Technical condition
■ Never operate the paint pressure tank if damaged or if parts are miss-
ing.
■ If damaged, immediately discontinue using the paint pressure tank,
disconnect it from the compressed air circuit and bleed completely.
■ Never alter or make technical modifications to the paint pressure tank.
■ Before each use, check the paint pressure tank and all connected
components for damage and ensure they are securely attached. Repair
if necessary.
■ The clamps and T-handle screws must be regularly checked for wear
