3. Remove the upper outlet (3).
4. Turn the disk with your hands until the hammers
axle is at the service opening (4).
5. Loosen hammer axle screws (5).
6. Pull hammers axle outward (6).
7. Remove hammers and turn them over to replace.
Be careful when replacing washers. Check the
distance of spacers and pay attention to the
sequence of the assembly process (7).
8. After turning the hammers over, secure the axle
with the side screw.
9. Turn the disk to the next axle of the hammers, and
repeat previous instructions.
10. After turning all hammers over, the side cover and
the upper outlet shall be reassembled.

Attention!
The hammers shall be replaced for
new ones when both sides are worn
out.
Sharpening cutting blades
When cutting blades are worn, you will obtain poor
cutting quality. Sharpening of the cutting blades
shall be done whenever your notice that the cutting
edge is worn. Sharpen the blades as follows:

1. Remove side cover (locking of square rods) (1).
2. Loosen the two hexagon nuts and remove service
opening protection (2).
3. Remove upper outlet (3).
4. Turn the disk with your hands until the blades find
the service opening (4).
5. Loosen the screws that fasten the cutting blade
and remove it (5).

6. Turn the disk to the next cutting blade, and repeat
the previous instructions.

7. Sharpen the cutting blades. Be careful to remove
the same amount of material from each blade
to keep the balance of the disk assembly and to
avoid vibration.
8. The sharpening of the blades must be done with
suitable machines, which guarantee a correct
sharpening, respecting the angle indicated in the
following figure.

9. After sharpening the cutting blades, fix them and
replace service opening protection.
10. The side cover and the upper outlet shall be
reassembled.
