2. Position your illuminance measurement device at a suitable
location on the workstation and rotate the setting disc until the
desired value for illuminance is achieved.
The nominal value is decreased in a clockwise direction and
increased anticlockwise.
Note: The nominal value for brightness control should be set
during darkness (without daylight or other light source).
Setting the delay
The switch-off delay is set at a value between 1 and 30 minutes
at the potentiometer for this purpose on the sensor. The fac-
tory setting is 15 minutes.
100 hour burn-in mode
The sensor has a button for activating the 100 hour burn-in
mode. This mode switches the lighting on with detection and
suppresses dimming for the next 100 hours.
The specific button must be pressed and held
for 1-3 seconds to activate the 100 hour
burn-in mode. The activated 100 hour
burn-in mode is confirmed via 1 x flashing.
After 100 hours the system switches automatically
to the preset operating mode. This process is
displayed via 2 x flashing of the lamps.
If the button is pressed and held for longer than 3 seconds
before expiry of the 100 hours, the 100 hour burn-in mode is
deactivated. This setting is also confirmed via 2 x flashing of
the lamps.

Expansion of detection range and grouping of luminaires
(rooms and zones)
The detection ranges for presence can be grouped by setting
up a wireless connection between the luminaires. After com-
bining the luminaires to a group (e.g. a room) these can still be
split up to 16 sub-groups (zones).
All luminaires in a zone switch to daylight-dependent opera-
tion (if this is active) upon detecting presence by a luminaire in
this zone. They otherwise switch to 100% operation.
The luminaires of other zones within the complete group (of
the room) also switch on but remain at their minimum level if
presence is not detected.
This function can be used in an open-plan office for example
for setting up automatic general lighting for non-occupied
areas. Much power can be saved by reducing the illuminance
level. General lighting in such situations maintains the balance
of illuminance conditions within the room as stipulated by valid
lighting standards.
If the wireless connection between luminaires in a room is not
set up then these fundamentally function as single luminaires.
If after establishing a wireless connection these zones are not
grouped, the complete luminaire group (room) functions as a
single zone.
