To Reinstall the Large Object Trap:
1. If you have removed the other filter
system components, return them to their
places, Micro Filter first, Fine Filter second,
and the Large Object Trap/Cylinder Filter
Assembly last.
2. Firmly press the Large Object Trap/Fine
Filter Assembly into position.
3. Turn the ring handle clockwise 1/4 turn
until it is locked. The arrow on the ring
handle and the arrow on the Fine Filter
should point to each other, as shown in the
circle labelled A in Figure 31.
4. Gently pull the ring handle to ensure that
the Assembly is locked into place.
Check/Clean the Spray Arms
Occasionally check the spray arms to
ensure that the spray nozzles are clear and
unobstructed. If the nozzles require
cleaning, the spray arms are easy to remove
and reinstall.
To remove the lower spray arm:
1. Pull the empty lower rack out of the
dishwasher tub.
2. Grasp the lower spray arm and gently pull
it upward, as shown in Figure 32.
If the spray nozzles need cleaning, flush
them under running water.
To reinstall the lower spray arm:
1. Gently press the lower spray arm back
into its installed position.
To remove the upper spray arm:
1. Remove the empty upper rack by pulling it
out of the dishwasher to the point that it can
be lifted upward. Pull the rack outward and
up until the rollers are completely free of the
roller guides. Slide the roller guides back into
the dishwasher tub.

2. Turn the rack upside-down. The upper
spray arm is held in position by a locking nut,
as shown in Figure 33A. Turn the locking nut
counter-clockwise 1/8 turn and remove it, as
shown in Figure 33B, to release the spray
arm.
3. Gently remove the spray arm, as shown
in Figure 34. If the spray nozzles need
cleaning, flush them under running water.
To reinstall the upper spray arm:
1. Gently press the upper spray arm back
into its installed position.
2. Return the locking nut to its installed
position and turn it 1/8 turn clockwise.
3. Return the upper rack to the upper rack
roller guides.
