Switching off
1 - Turn the knob (A) anti-clockwise (pos. b) to turn
off the electricity supply.
STARTING AND STOPPING COOKING
To start and stop the appliance, proceed as follows.
Starting
1 - Switch on the appliance (see page 7).
2 - Press key (A) and then key (B) to activate the oil
"melting" procedure.
N.B.: when the preheating temperature is reached the
beeper sounds; press key (C) to deactivate the "melting"
function. The temperature is maintained at 100°C until
cooking starts.
3 - Press key (D) to activate the temperature input
mode.
4 - Press keys (D and C) to set the cooking temper-
ature.
N.B.: the data set on the control panel are retained in
the memory until the electricity is turned off from the
appliance.
5 - Press key (A) to terminate the temperature
maintenance function.
6 - Press key (B) to start the cooking cycle.
N.B.: lights (E and F) flash while the oil is heating
to the temperature of use, and remain constantly on
once the temperature is reached.
To display the temperature set during cooking, press
key (D).

To carry out this operation, proceed as follows.

Before proceeding, allow the appliance to
cool for 10-15 min., so that the oil reaches a

temperature between 50 and 120°C.
1 - Place the container (B) and the filter (C), both
available as optionals, underneath the drain
pipe (A).
2 - Use the lever (D) to turn on the tap and empty
the well.
3 - Use the lever (D) to turn off the tap when the
procedure is complete.
Caution - warning
Do not dump oil in the environment; dispose
of it in accordance with the laws in force in the
country of use.

2 - Turn off the appliance's circuit breaker to dis-
connect it from the electrical mains.

Stopping
Press key (B) to stop the cooking cycle.
Important
If the electricity supply is cut off for less
than 20-40 seconds, the cooking cycle re-
starts automatically.
If the blackout lasts more than 40 seconds,
press key (B) to restart the cooking cycle.
