Malfunction
LED 5 V not illuminated
LED L1/A1 or L2/A2
not illuminated
LED DDL is permanently
illuminated

Danger due to improper repairs or modifications to the
device!
Improperly repaired or modified devices can no longer be
operated safely.

Only let repairs be carried out by qualified technicians
(see "Personnel qualifications" on page 45).

Never modify the device on your own authority.
If errors occur, please contact one of the addresses found under

Possible cause
No electronics voltage present.
Bus coupler is defective.
Incorrectly assembled or
defective cable.
There is no physical connection
between the PLC and bus
coupler.
Faulty DDL configuration.
NOTICE
Remedy
Check the electronics power supply
on the bus coupler.
Exchange the bus coupler.
Use tested cables.
Check the Ethernet cable and
SERCOS III connections.
Check the baud rate, consecutive
addressing 1-x, terminating
resistor present.
