Note: we recommend that you apply a coat of sanding sealer to
the wooden parts before fitting them. You may also wish to
colour them to suit the model.
Figs. 1 and 2
- Glue the main spar 1 in the spar / servo lead duct. The angled
ends of the spar must end flush with the underside of the wing ;
this leaves a channel on the top surface for the servo leads.
Ensure that no glue runs into the servo lead channel.
Fig. 3
- Glue the landing skid 3 in the slot.
Fig. 4, overall drawing D
- Cut out the individual decals, working just inside the dotted lines.
- Push pins into the reference points "B1" and "B" to help you
position the decals "D1" and "D". The points "B1" are located
inboard at the change in angle of the gull-wing, on the centreline
of the wing leading edge. The points "B" are located at the tran-
sition between the main wing and the winglet.
See the overall drawing "D".
The decal strips "D5" are not needed until the winglets have been
attached.
Figs. 5 and 6
- Position the large decal "D1" between the two reference points
"B1" and "B", but initially just tack it in place by pressing it onto
the wing leading edge at a few points.
Figs. 7 and 8
- Check that the decal is straight, then cautiously press it onto
both sides of the wing, taking care to avoid trapped air and wrin-
kles.
Fig. 9
- Place the nose fairing 4 over the point of the fuselage, and push
pins into the foam at the corner points to mark its position.
Remove part 4 again.
Figs. 10 and 11
- Position the short inboard decals "D" between the reference
points "B1" and "B3".
