Alarm Zones Status Check
It is possible to check up on the alarm system status from the Detecta4 monitor.
The possible states the alarm system may present are as follows:
- General system arming.
- Alarm set off.
- Alarms enabled.
System status check:
- General system arming: If the system has been armed: Slow blinking
''red LED'' on the monitor.
- Alarm set off: If an alarm has gone off: Slow blinking ''red LED'' on the
monitor (also acoustic alerts and sending the corresponding messages).
- Alarm zones enabled:
To be able to activate alarm Zones arming, the system must be «enabled».
The alarm systems of Avisa and Detecta4 Kits are enabled at the factory. There is no need to
enable the system previously; simply arm or disarm the system to activate the alarm Zones.
From the Detecta4 monitor, you can check the current status of the alarms system. To do so, simply use
the monitor telephone to key in the code corresponding to the zone you wish to check, followed by the
''*'' key (N*, where N is the zone number).
The monitor tells you whether the system is enabled or disabled, by means of the ''red LED'' and a
series of acoustic alerts signalling which zone has been checked.
Once the checking code for the corresponding zone has been keyed in, the correct code
confirmation tone is heard (
