2.3 Markings and signs to be affixed by operating company

The end-user may be obliged to affix further labelling andsigns on the MiniFil and in
the vicinity.
Such markings and signs might be related, for example, to the requirement to wear
personal protective equipment.

2.4 Safety instructions for operating staff

Before use, the operator of the MiniFil is to be instructed on handling the device by
information, instruction and training, as well as on the use of materials and tools.
The MiniFil may only be operated in technically flawless condition, bearing in mind its
intended use, safety regulations and hazards and in compliance with the operating
instructions! All faults, especially those which may have an adverse effect on safety,
must be rectified immediately!
Any person who is entrusted with the commissioning, operation or maintenance must
have read and understood this user manual completely
– especially section 2 Safety. Once they are working on the machine, it is too late.
This applies particularly to staff who only occasionally work on the MiniFil.
The operating instructions must be readily accessible in the vicinity of the MiniFil at
all times.
We accept no liability for any damages or injuries caused by failure to observe these
operating instructions.
The relevant accident prevention regulations and other generally recognized safety
and health rules and regulations are to be complied with.
It is important to lay down and adhere to the responsibility for the different activities in
matters of servicing and maintenance. Only in this way will incorrect actions
– especially in danger situations – be avoided.
The end-user is to enforce wearing of personal protective equipment by operating
and maintenance staff. These include in particular safety shoes, safety glasses and
gloves.
Do not wear loose, long hair, loose clothing or jewellery! There is always the danger
of something staying in a hanging position somewhere, or
Being pulled in or carried away on moving parts.
If safety-relevant changes to the MiniFil occur, shut the extraction down immediately
and switch off and report what has happened to the competent authority or person!
Work on the MiniFil may only be carried out by reliable, trained personnel. Observe
the minimum legal age!
Only allow staff who are being trained, given practical training or instruction to work
on the MiniFil under the constant supervision of an experienced staff member!
