10.4 The quick-action couplings cannot be disconnected.
Check tool control handle

Check the coupling locking

Locking ring released
Pump and/or hose(s)
pressurized.

After completion of troubleshooting as described in step 3 (a – f):
System not operating normally on
both sides with replacement hose(s).
OR
System operation is okay on one side
only.
Consult your Holmatro dealer in case of other problems or if the solutions provided above do not have the
required results.
Handle in open or


Incorrect position

System not
releasing pressure

Consult your Holmatro dealer .
Continue the operation on the working
 side. When the operation is complete,
consult your Holmatro dealer
Release control handle

to neutral position
Release locking sleeve

a.TURN OFF PUMP
b. Release pressure at
bypass valve by
turning valve stem all
the way in 
clockwise.

c. Disconnect hose(s)
between pump and
tool(s).
d. Close bypass valve.
e. Connect a
replacement hose
between pump and
tool.
f. Restart pump. If the
problem continues,
repeat troubleshooting
(a-f) on the other
pump connection.
