Caution
Before plugging the unit into the power socket, check
the following:
• Voltage: The voltage on the rating plate must be
the same as that of the supply.
• Switch: The machine must be switched off
(Fig. 1.1, 1.2).
• Tool: Use appropriate saw blade for material.
Replace blade when worn.
To saw pipe
Attach appropriate pipe holder and blade (see RIDGD
catalogue) locating pivot shaft of pipe holder in hole of
saw gear housing.
Set speed (Fig. 2) according to material (see chart
inside carrying case).
Orbital action
Set "ON" for fast cutting (Fig. 3). Set "OFF" for precise
cutting and when starting to cut metal (Fig. 4).
Important
Do not overload the saw by forcing the blade into the
work. Excessive pressure will wear blades faster and
may damage the saw.
